REMEMBERING SAM BANDOO
Sam Bandoo was a man of many parts. Kind and friendly he made each person feel at home in his home.
He had a capacity to make old things new, to convert unused spaces into areas of utility and to make ordinary things beautiful.
My late wife, Marjorie, and I profited from his hospitality and kindness and greatly treasured his friendship. I can imagine with what a smile she has greeted him on the other side.
Sam was a great family man and we all know how much he is missed. But we mourn not as those who are without hope. “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”.
